November Recycling Day

Your Tech Department is officially on a first name basis with the lovely folks at Technology Recyclers! Somehow we have managed to amass another haul of tech and it needs to go!

So, bring any old technology you are looking to have recycled between now and the November 15th staff meeting. We are expecting the recyclers to drop by that Thursday the 16th after the staff meeting. All electronic devices are welcome (including TVs)! If you have any questions, reach out to Thomas or Dale!

Guest Devices

Did you forget your computer at home? Have an event with an attendee that needs to borrow a device for the day? Just curious about how life would be working from a Chromebook for a day?! We have you covered!

There is now a set of devices located in Thomas' office available for guests and staff to borrow for the day as needed. Drop by and grab the device you need and its charger and return it at the end of the day and your friendly neighborhood Tech Department will make sure everything is signed out, cleaned up, and ready for the next person!

Zoom AI Companion!

Zoom's new AI Companion feature is now live for all staff! You can start using it right away in Meetings to get AI generated summaries, highlights and more!

Tech Department Updates and Tips

Reserve the Photobooth for Your Next Event!

There is now a reservation form in the Staff Portal for staff to reserve the photobooth. Reservations are available on a first come basis and require training from the tech department before using the photobooth. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to your friendly tech department and we would be happy to help!

Note: A calendar will soon be available to see photobooth availability. For now only the reservation form is available.

Upgrade Your Mouse Game!

Do you have a Logitech Mouse with extra buttons on the side? Have you ever wondered what those buttons do? The answer - ANYTHING!

Your CIESC issued Logitech Mouse allows you to customize the actions of the side buttons to do anything you need. Many folks have these buttons set up to Copy and Paste for quick and easy editing. Others have them open or switch to certain applications they use regularly.
